25 | On 9/22/2022 at 4:00 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection and met with Hilary Soldati Administrative Director of the Wishing Well School and Kyra Smith. LPA explained the nature and purpose of the inspection.
During the tour, LPA observed that there were 28 school age children in the outdoor activity area. Ms. Kyra Smith likewise confirmed that there were 30 children however, 2 of them were attending a Music lesson at the same school. Ms. Soldati and Ms. Smith explained that registration of school age children is done through the electronic platform called Bigsis application and the said application was not stopping the parent from signing up for after school care even when the program is full. This caused the over capacity limit today.
The CCC is operating beyond its capacity limit of 21. During today's inspection, deficiency was cited under Title 22 Division 12 of California Code of Regulations.
LPA Reyes informed Ms. Hilary Soldati that this report dated 9/22/2022 documents one Type A citation which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there are immediate risks to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
Also, LPA Reyes informed the Ms. Soldati to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 9/22/2022 that documents any Type A citations to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Administrative Director, Ms Hilary Soldati |
