testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP. Water is
provided for children in care inside of the facility and outside of the facility. LPAs observed a facility menu posted on the CCC's wall. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, sharps and medication are in areas which are inaccessible to children in care.
The CCC's outdoor play area is enclosed by black wrought iron fencing. The fence's entry/exit gates are secured. LPAs observed a shed in the play area which is secure by lock. The shed contains CCC supplies. LPAs observed age appropriate toys/play equipment in the play areas. The toys/play equipment are free of sharp, loose or pointed objects. No bodies of water were observed on site. Play structure have adequate cushion to absorb for falls and shade in the area is created by building overhangs and canopy shades.
Staff and children records are reviewed. The children’s records are complete and found to contain emergency contact information and immunization records, amongst other licensing required documents. Staff records are reviewed and contained pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications, Mandated Report certifications and teaching qualifications, amongst other required licensing documents. Site Supervisor informed LPAs no firearms/weapons or ammunition was stored on the premises.

Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
