25 | On 11/3/25, at 1:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Sapien conducted an annual random inspection of the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC). LPA met with Marques Lopez, Interim Site Supervisor of the CCC, and explained the purpose of the inspection. The CCC is located on the grounds of Vineyard Elementary School. LPA toured the entirety of the the CCC (interior and exterior). The CCC uses two classrooms (Classroom D1 and D2), multipurpose room, three school bathroom, and one outdoor play area.
The CCC operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 8:15 AM. The CCC also has two afternoon school programs that operate from 2:40 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesdays, the afternoon school program operates from 1:40 PM until 6:00 PM. During the beginning of the inspection, LPA observed 0 children in care and 0 additional staff members. Towards the end of the visit, LPA observed children 12 in care and 2 additional staff members (cleared and associated).
The classrooms at the CCC are clean and orderly. The classroom has age-appropriate equipment and furnishings for children in care. The classrooms contain various closets and a number of cabinets all of which contain items, equipment, and other related objects for children in care. As mentioned prior, the CCC utilizes three school bathrooms, each of which possess adequate numbers of sinks and toilets for children in care. The bathroom was found to be clean, orderly, and rid of any hazardous items for children in care.
The CCC possesses a mini refrigerator within classroom D1 that possesses some food items and drinks for children in care. Morning children enjoy one snack that is provided by the CCC, while the afternoon children enjoy 2 snacks. Lunches are provided by the school. There is available drinking water for children at the CCC via a five gallon water jug.
