25 | On 9/1/22, at 10:15 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvin Baddley conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection of the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC) to assess a request to relocate the Infant and Toddler rooms to other rooms in the CCC. Specifically, the Infant and Toddler room of the CCC will relocate across the hall way from preexisting locations to the west side of the CCC. LPA received an updated facility sketch with the proposed relocation on 8/26/22.
LPA met with Ella Batson, Director of the CCC to initiate the inspection. LPA notes seven children are present during the inspection, along with two teachers (associated and cleared).
Upon explaining the purpose and nature of the inspection, LPA toured and measured the rooms for the proposed relocations. LPA notes the proposed rooms are similar in size to the existing Infant and Toddler rooms. In essence, the proposed and existing rooms accommodates the same capacity. LPA notes the proposed Infant and Toddler rooms have ventilation, furnishing (age appropriate) and entry/exit points to support child care. Director notes children in the both proposed rooms will continue to use the preexisting restrooms.
In consideration of the the aforementioned, the CCC is able to relocate the Infant and Toddler rooms to the new proposed locations which is in across the hallway on the west side of the facility.
No deficiencies were cite during this inspection.
LPA forwarded a Notice of Site Visit which is to be posted as required by H&S CODE SEC.1596.817. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days or a civil penalty $100.00 may apply. |
