25 | On 10/08/2025, at 1:40 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shane Loftus conducted an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection of the Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPA met with licensee, Margarita Nunez, and the assistant/daughter of the FCCH. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed eight (8) children in care. LPA notes three (3) of the children in care are the assistant’s biological children.
LPA, in the company of the assistant toured the interior and exterior of the FCCH. The home is a single-story home consisting of a living room, dining room, kitchen, three (3) bedrooms, three (3) bathrooms, garage, and backyard. Daycare services take place in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and one (1) bathroom. The garage, three (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, and backyard are inaccessible to children in care.
The FCCH was observed to be clean and orderly. The FCCH has ventilation to afford for the children’s comfort. LPA observed sharps and medications stored in an elevated cabinet in the kitchen. Cleaning compounds are stored in the garage. LPA notes all areas are inaccessible to children in care. The bathroom used for childcare is clean and free of toxins. LPA observed toys, furniture, and equipment in the FCCH to be age appropriate and in good condition. LPA observed a fireplace in the living room that is screened and inaccessible to children in care.
