25 | On December 16th, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensee's daughter/assistant(A1), Lynn Duri, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during LPA’s visit included licensee, A1, and 4 enrolled children (3 infants and 1 preschooler). The licensee is a large license and is operating within capacity limits and ratio. LPA observed pet dog fully vaccinated.
Licensee owns home, which is a 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, multi level house. Licensee lives in home with spouse(co-licensee). Facility operates Monday Through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Day Care Areas: first level of the home includes the living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom #1, bedroom #2, playroom #1, playroom #2 (garage), outside deck in backyard.
Off Limit Areas: The Entire second level of the home and shed located in backyard. Off limit areas are barricaded with child safety gates and/or locked doors.
At approximately 2:15 PM, LPA toured day care areas of home with A1. LPA observed the home to be in repair with proper temperature and ventilation. Home is equipped with a variety of toys and materials that were observed to be in working condition. LPA observed a properly barricaded fireplace in living room area. LPA observed a fully stocked accessible first aid kit located in the garage entrance area. LPA did not observe any accessible cleaning supplies, poisons, and solutions in day care areas. LPA observed electrical outlets to be made inaccessible with outlet covers. Home is equipped with a fully charged fire extinguisher and multiple smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. LPA tested carbon monoxide detector in laundry area room area near garage, which was observed to be working. Licensee does not have any children in care with allergies or IMS plans. Per A1, she provides all foods for the children in care.
At approximately 3:00 PM, LPA observed bathroom for children's use was in proper working condition. LPA observed bathroom to include appropriate toileting equipment and sanitation products. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials to be accessible to children in the bathroom.
