25 | On December 15th, 2025, at approximately 1:55pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced random annual inspection and met with licensee, Rosario Ingrid Hernandez. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection to licensee. Present in the facility are licensee and assistant supervising 9 children (4 infants and 5 preschoolers). During today's inspection, all adults living and/or working in the facility are fingerprint cleared and associated. LPA verified Guardian list with licensee. During today’s inspection, licensee is operating within appropriate license capacity.
Licensee’s home is a three-bedroom, one bathroom, one level house. Days and hours of operation are: Monday- Friday; 8:00am- 5:00pm. Daycare areas are: Living Room (Playroom #1), Bedroom #1 (for napping only), Bathroom #1 and enclosed 0utdoor Play Area Off Limit areas are: Bedroom #2, Bedroom #3, Family Room, and Kitchen (Pass through only). All off limit areas, including all closets, are properly barricaded.
LPA inspected home, inside and outside, with the licensee for health and safety hazards. LPA observed the Day-care is clean, orderly with a variety of age-appropriate toys for the children. All furniture inspected is in good repair. The licensee has a fully stocked First Aid kit and was reminded to be aware of the expiration of the First Aid Kit. The home has no pools or bodies of water. Per licensee, there is a pet in the home in an off limit area. The home does have a fireplace that is properly barricaded in the main living room. LPA reminded licensee about water safety.
The home has age-appropriate equipment available for children in care. Licensee was reminded that baby walkers, bouncers, jumpers, and any other similar items are not to be used for children in care. Per licensee, all children sleep in the napping room. Per licensee, she provides all sheets for children that are laundered everyday. Licensee stated that she also does daily sanitation of the daycare area. LPA and licensee discussed the discipline policy. Per licensee, she communicates and sometimes does time out.
