25 | On February 8, 2024, at approx. 9:00AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Maria Olguin-Leon and Janet Gil, conducted an unannounced, plan of correction (POC) visit. LPAs met with Licensee, Keri Grech, and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during LPAs visit was Licensee and 4 infants.
On January 30, 2024, LPA Maria Olguin-Leon met with licensee to conduct an annual inspection visit. During visit, LPA observed facility to be operating over capacity with 4 infants and 2 preschoolers. LPA issued a Type A citation for operating over licensed capacity limits. A POC was developed with licensee.
As of this date, LPAs Olguin-Leon and Janet Gil confirmed the licensee to have only four infants present. Per Licensee, she only has four infants on a given day and is juggling children schedules. Per licensee, C5 is staying home unless another child is not coming for the day. Child C5 will turn two on February 15, 2024. Two other enrolled children share a spot and come on alternating days. LPAs observed licensee to be operating within licensed capacity limits on this date.
During today's visit, LPAs observed signed and completed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports (LIC9224) for 6 children. LPAs observed facility site visit and reports posted.
Deficiency cited on January 30, 2024, has been cleared as of this date. LPAs provided licensee copy of POC letter. No deficiencies were cited today.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
