25 | On 4/28/2025 at 3:10PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Luis Gomez and met with Licensee, Mary Kopti. The purpose of inspection was explained and was for an unannounced, plan of correction inspection established on 4/16/2025. Present were the licensee and licensee's son caring for 6 child. (2 infant-age, 4 preschool-age) LPA inspected facility for health and safety hazards.
During inspection, LPA conducted record review; observation; and interview.
Licensee stated planter boxes with hazardous plants are too heavy. Licensee stated will wait to remove plants permanently from the backyard area. Per licensee plan to ensure back yard is safe prior to child use includes: Barricade plants with picnic chairs to cover area. Licensee will removing possible hazards including dog droppings and to roll up the hose to prevent tripping. During inspection, licensee submitted (LIC999), facility sketch was submitted to LPA during inspection.
Licensee submitted log with documentation of each infant napping check. LPA confirmed reviews are conducted every 15 minutes, include the date and child's names.
Deficiencies issues during annual inspection on 4/16/2025 have been cleared. The 'letter of deficiency citation cleared' was provided.
Based on today's inspection, no deficiencies were observed in areas evaluated according to California Title 22, Div. 12 Chap. 3, Health and Safety, Code of Regulations. Exit interview was completed with Licensee, Mary Kopti.
