25 | On February 27th, 2025 at approximately 9:20 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gil arrived at the facility to conduct a Case Management - Incident inspection. LPA met with director, Ria Aguinaldo. The purpose of today's inspection was explained. Inspection is in response to an Unusual Incident Report that was self reported and received by the department on February 10th, 2025.
All staff at the facility have on file fingerprint clearance. Facility operates out of three classrooms. Present during inspection included 37 enrolled children and 8 staff (including director). LPA inspected the classrooms indoors and the outdoor area.LPA observed classrooms to be clean, equipped with age appropriate toys, materials, and furniture.
The facility self reported an incident that occurred on January 31st, 2025. The incident involved a hand, foot, and mouth outbreak within enrolled children at the facility. Per interview with director, facility has had no new cases. Director stated facility cleaned/sanitized facility, and all bedding was sent home to be washed by parents or authorized representatives. Per director, all impacted children were unable to return to facility care until cleared by a doctor's note.
No deficiencies were cited today under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chapt. 1.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
