25 | On 12/10/2025 at 2:25PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Licensees, Jack Lee and Wendy Mai. The purpose of today’s visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual/ random inspection. Present were licensees caring for 4 children. ( 1 preschool-age, 3 infant-age) Adults have criminal record clearance on file. The home is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom, two level house. The areas of the home designed for childcare include: (Lower Level) Bedroom # 1, the Sun Room, the Living Room, the Dining Room, and Backyard. The areas of the home designated as off-limits: (Lower Level) Garage, Kitchen, and Foyer. (Upper Level) Bedroom #2, #3, #4, and Bathroom #2. Per licensee, days and hours of operations are: Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM., to 5:00 PM. LPA inspected home inside and outside for health and safety hazards.
At 2:30PM., the following was observed: Facility clean and neat, with age-appropriate playthings available for the children. The floor and ground surfaces were clear of obstructions or hazards. The furniture, materials, and toys were in good repair, and free of sharp corners. LPA observed infant feeding chairs, with detachable table in kitchen. Accessible staircase has been barricaded.
For napping services/ scheduled rest, LPA observed several play pens in bedroom #1. Per licensee, sheet and bedding are washed weekly.
The facility bathroom (1) was observed clean, with faucet and toilet in operating condition. The facility was comfortable with ventilation and sufficient lighting. The facility was equipped with a telephone service; functioning carbon monoxide/ smoke combination detectors; and fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) located in kitchen. (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
