25 | On December 19th, 2024, at approximately 9:10 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensee, Stacie Crockett, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during LPA’s visit included licensee, licensee's spouse, and 3 of licensees own children. Per licensee, she is closed for the holidays, and 12/18/24 was there last operating day before break. Per licensee she has 8 enrolled children. The licensee is a large license and is operating within capacity limits and ratio.
Licensee owns home, which is a 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, single level house. Licensee lives in home with spouse, and three minor children. All adults living and working in the home have fingerprint clearance. Facility operates Monday Through Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Day Care Areas: Living room, Nap room, Bathroom, and Backyard.
Off Limit Areas: Two Bedrooms, Kitchen, Garage, and Storage Shed in Backyard Area. Off limit areas are made inaccessible to children with child safety gates.
At approximately 9:40 AM, LPA toured day care areas of home with licensee. LPA observed the home to be in repair with proper temperature and ventilation. LPA observed a properly barricaded fireplace in living room area. Home is equipped with a variety of toys and materials that were observed to be in working condition. LPA observed a fully stocked accessible first aid kit located in the Nap Room closet. LPA did not observe any accessible cleaning supplies, poisons, and solutions in day care areas. LPA observed electrical outlets to be made inaccessible with furniture and outlet covers. Home is equipped with two fully charged fire extinguishers and multiple dual smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. LPA tested carbon monoxide detector in hallway area Backyard exit, which was observed to be working. Licensee has one enrolled child with a peanut allergy but no provided medication. Per licensee, she provides snack and breakfast only. Parents and authorized representatives provide all lunches.
At approximately 10:15 AM, LPA observed bathroom for children's use was in proper working condition. LPA observed bathroom to include appropriate toileting equipment and sanitation products. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials to be accessible to children in the bathroom.
