Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marie Rodriguez conducted a scheduled case management inspection and met with Director Elizabeth Villagomez. Licensee is requesting to add a previously off limit section to the existing outdoor play area of Yard 2. Section includes two new play structures and a sand box for children's use. LPA will measure section and inspect it for health and safety hazards. Present at the center were the Director, six teachers, and 19 preschool aged children.

Center has two yards that is used as an outdoor play area. The new section requested to be added is located in Yard 2. LPA measured total area of Yard 2 including added section. Total area measures at 8,476.04 sq ft divided by 75 sq ft equals a total of 113 children for Yard 2. LPA inspected the new section for health and safety hazards. The play structures are brand new and have sufficient resilient material underneath it. Sand box is covered when not in use.

LPA is approving the usage of the new section of Yard 2 effective as of today, April 27, 2023.

No deficiencies cited today under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12.

Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Director Elizabeth Villagomez.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
