25 | On July 8, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van arrived at the family child care home to conduct an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. LPA met with the licensee, Oyundelger Tsendjave, and explained the purpose of the visit. The licensee granted LPA access to the home. Upon entry, the licensee and an assistant/spouse supervised 3 children (1 infant and two preschoolers)
During the annual inspection conducted on June 3, 2026, LPA observed deficiencies related to temporary absence and mandated reporter training requirements. The licensee was out of the country for approximately 30 days, which exceeded the allowable temporary absence limit and did not meet the requirement that the licensee be present and actively involved in the daily operation of the home. Additionally, the licensee’s assistant/spouse did not have a valid Mandated Reporter Training certificate and had not renewed the required training.
In addition to the deficiencies issued, technical violations were also issued on June 3, 2026. Cleaning products were observed accessible to children, and a mattress was observed without a properly fitted sheet.
During today’s visit, LPA verified through record review and observation that the licensee corrected all previously cited deficiencies and technical violations. The licensee returned home and resumed responsibility for daily operations, ensuring compliance with supervision requirements. LPA confirmed that the assistant/spouse renewed and obtained a valid Mandated Reporter Training certificate. LPA also verified that cleaning products were properly stored and inaccessible, and that all mattresses were fitted with tightly fitted sheets that met regulatory requirements.
Based on today’s inspection, all deficiencies and technical violations cited on June 3, 2026, have been corrected, and the family child care home is now in compliance.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the licensee, Oyundelger Tsendjave.
