25 | On 5/6/2025 at 1:35PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Licensee, Day Anne Suspine. The purpose of today’s visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual/ random inspection. Present was the licensee and caring for 11 children. ( 5 infant-age, 6 preschool-age) During inspection, 12 child (school-age ) and 2nd licensee, Anthony Esguerra arrived to facility. Per licensee’s school-age child present is her daughter. Adults have criminal record clearances on file. Licensee’s home is a two bedroom, two bathroom, one level house. Days and hours of operations are Monday- Friday, 7:30AM- 6:00PM. The areas of the home designated for childcare are: Living Room (Activity Room); Bathroom #1; Dining Area; Kitchen; Bedroom #1; and Backyard. The area designated as off-limits include Garage; Bedroom #2, and Bathroom #2. LPA inspected facility indoors and outdoors for health and safety hazards.
At 1:40AM., Based on observation and interview, LPA confirmed licensee operating out of ratio, with one adult (Licensee) present with 11 children in care.
At 1:45PM., the following was observed: Facility was clean, neat, with age-appropriate playthings and material available for the children. The floors, walkways, and ground surfaces were clear of any obstructions or hazards. The off-limit areas are made inaccessible with lockable doors. Accessible table, chairs, and furniture are scaled to the appropriate size. Facility materials and playthings inspected were in good repair, free of sharp corners or splinters. Fireplace in activity room has been barricaded.
For napping services/ scheduled rest, LPA observed plastic mats and play pen located in facility. Play pens were equipped with properly sized mattress and tight fitted sheet.
Bathroom #1 was observed clean, with faucet and toilet in operating condition. Facility was a comfortable temperature, ventilation, and lighting. Facility has telephone service; carbon monoxide/ smoke combination detectors; and fire extinguisher (2A:10BC). (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
