There are storage cabinets in the classroom that did not have child safety locks installed. LPA did not observe hazardous materials in cabinets without child safety locks.
There is an accessible sink in the classroom that was observed to be in working condition. There is also a water fountain in the classroom that is not used for drinking. Classroom includes multiple smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detector, fire alarm system, fire hose and fully charged fire extinguisher. Licensee provided LPA proof of recent fire inspection visit.
Children sleep in the classroom on floor mats. LPA observed sleeping mats to be appropriately stored in children's cubbies to avoid touching other mats. Per licensee, mats are also sanitized weekly or as needed.
