25 | On March 21, 2025, at approximately 8:45 AM, LPAs Tse, and Badger conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPAs met with director, Laura Duran, and explained the purpose of the inspection.
The facility is a combination center with a preschool and infant license. Present during inspection of the infant license, there were 24 infants total (7 infants and 17 children under 24 months) and 10 staff members, including director (9 staff members are under the infant license). It was observed that the facility is operating within capacity requirements and ratios.
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM. LPAs inspected the entire facility, both indoors and outdoors for health and safety hazards. The facility includes seven classrooms. 5 classrooms for the preschool license and 2 classrooms for the infant license: Infant A and Infant B Rooms are connected.
LPAs observed classrooms to be clean with age appropriate toys, materials, and furniture. Storage for children's belongings were located inside each classroom, labeled with each child's individual names and pictures. Changing tables are within arm's reach of a sink.
LPAs observed facility has a fully functional fire alarm system and Carbon Monoxide monitors throughout the entire building. Facility has multiple carbon monoxide detectors. One Carbon Monoxide Detector was tested by LPAs during the visit. The facility also has fully charged fire extinguishers and backpacks of first aid kits in each room. All poisons, cleaning solutions and hazardous materials are stored inaccessible to children in the facility, and are locked in the high shelves or locked behind child safety locked cabinets. LPAs observed bathrooms used for day care use to be clean and in working condition. The children's sinks only provide cool water for hand washing.
