25 | On 5/8/2026 at 8:50AM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Director, Shelly Weinhauer. The purpose of today's visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual-random inspection. Present was Director and 12 staff supervising 57 children. The children present had been signed in by guardians. This facility is a licensed preschool with a toddler option.
The day and hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 8:30AM- 5:15PM. Per director, the program operates year-round. The program utilizes three classrooms: Toddler 1, 18-24 months; Toddler 2, 24- 36 months; Preschool 1, 3-4 years old; Preschool 2, 4- 5 years old, and the shared outdoor play area. LPA inspected facility, indoors and outdoors, for health and safety hazards.
During inspection, LPA observed the following: The facility was neat and orderly with age-appropriate equipment available for the children. The floors, including carpets and other surfaces, were clear of any obstructions. LPA observed labeled cubbies and storage hooks available for children’s belongings. The accessible furniture and materials inspected were in good repair, and free of any sharp corners or splintered edges.
The facility is equipped with lockable cabinets and shelves for staff belongings. LPA observed several tables/ chairs were scaled to the appropriate size for food services.
The bathrooms were observed clean with several step stools, and adequate supplies for washing hands. LPA observed fold-down-diaper changing tables, available for the staff as needed. The trash bins for disposal of solid waste had been covered. The cleaning detergents, spray bottles, and wipes were made inaccessible.
The classrooms had adequate ventilation, lighting, and were at a comfortable temperature. The facility had a functioning telephone service; carbon monoxide combination detector (built-in); and fire extinguisher (3A40BC). (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
