25 | On November 23, 2021 at 10:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo conducted an unannounced, annual, required inspection. LPA met with licensee, Fenge "Jenny" Ye. Licensee is licensed for a Large Family Child Care home as of 1/07/2021. Present during the inspection was licensee's spouse, licensee's two minor children, two helpers (H1 and H2), and 9 enrolled children (3 infants and 6 preschool age). Licensee is operating within capacity requirements on this date.
All adults living or working in the home have criminal record clearance on file. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
Licensee owns the home which is single level, family home. The home consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a family room, sun room, living room, dining room, kitchen, garage and side/backyard. The DAY CARE AREAS are the family room (main classroom), bathroom (located in main classroom), master bedroom (napping room), sun room (classroom #2), and side yard. The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are bedroom #1, bedroom #2, living room, dining room, kitchen, garage and portion of backyard. All off limit areas are properly barricaded with child safety gates, child safety handles, and/or locked doors.
At approximately 10:15am, LPA toured day care areas of home with Licensee. LPA observed home to be in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. Bodies of water on site were located in off-limit areas, completely separate, fenced and inaccessible to enrolled children in care. The entire backyard is enclosed with an least 5ft high fence. Backyard is equipped with appropriate outdoor toys and equipment that are in good working condition. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children on high shelves.
