25 | On April 9, 2024, at approximately 1pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Janet Gil and Winnie Lee arrived at the facility. LPAs conducted an unannounced case management inspection for an increase of capacity. LPAs met with Director, Sophin Fransis. The facility has requested to increase capacity from 18 to 19 infant children. Fire clearance has been granted. Present in the facility were 14 infant age children with 5 staff. All adults working in the facility are fingerprint cleared.
The facility is located on Adobe Drive. Facility’s infant license is currently licensed for 18 infant children in classroom D. LPAs measured room D. Classroom D measured for a total of 668.297 allowing 19 infant age children.
LPAs inspected classroom D for health and safety hazards. LPAs observed that there is a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher in classroom. Smoke and carbon monoxide detector was not tested due to children in care being in nap time. LPAs observed facility has no cleaning solutions, poisons, or other chemicals accessible to children to children in care. Rooms have age-appropriate toys and no accessible outlets.
This facility meets the licensing requirements to increase capacity to 19 infants and re-licensure is recommended and approved as of today, 4/9/2024. New license shall be posted when received.
No deficiencies were cited today. Exit interview and report was discussed with director Sophin Fransis.
