25 | On June 7, /2024, at approximately 8:30AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Tso (certified bilingual Chinese), met with Fire Marshal and Licensee, Yu Yang. Purpose of inspection was explained and was for an Unannounced, Case Management inspection to assist the Fire Marshal to translate during the fire clearance visit to add the backyard as the daycare area. Present was the licensee caring for 4 children (2 preschool aged children and 2 infants). Adult has criminal record clearance on file. Licensee’s home is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 level house. Days and hours of operations are: Monday- Friday, 8:30AM.- 5:30PM. Daycare Areas are: Living Room (Playroom); and Bathroom #1 & # 3. Off-limit Areas are: Bedrooms #2, #4, Garage, Kitchen, and Outdoor Backyard Area. LPAs inspected facility with licensee for health and safety hazards.
LPAs inspected the outdoor, backyard area. The playthings inspected were in good repair. The back yard area does not have any pools, jacuzzi, fishponds or bodies of water.
Updated Facility Sketch (LIC999) has been submitted to the department.
Before the adding the outdoor backyard were added to the on-limit (day care) areas, the following should be completed.
· Per the Fire Marshal’s comment, the wooden gate on the left-hand side should make some minor modifications. Once completed the modifications, the licensee should provide the proof of the completion of the modifications to LPA for further processing the fire clearance.
· Proof of Fire Clearance obtained.
**No deficiencies were cited against the facility today under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chapter 3. **
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Yang Yu. |
