Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Medlin met with facility representative for this plan of correction visit established on 9/14/2023. Purpose of visit explained. There are 5 children present during the visit. The following previously cited deficiencies are observed to be corrected and cleared today:
  • Section 102416(c) - PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS: This requirement is not met as evidenced by: based on review of Pediatric First Aid and CPR (exp 9/2022). Licensee and Yanci Turcios now both have current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification (exp 9/30/2025).
  • Health and Safety Code: 1596.8662(b)(1) - On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. Licensee and helper do not have the required training. Licensee and helpers now have current mandated child abuse reporter training compliant with AB1207 (exp 9/26/2025; Yanci Turcios (exp 9/29/2025); Marisol Turcios (exp 10/2/2025).

This report is reviewed with facility representative and a copy of this report must be made available for public review upon request.

Notice of site visit provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
