25 | On October 2, 2025 at approximately 8:00AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Katie Krenn arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced case management visit, which was initiated by the licensee.
LPA met with licensee, Avanthi Abeyoonesekera and explained the of conducting an inspection for a change to the daycare area. During today's visit LPA observed five staff (including the licensee) supervising 12 preschool age children. The licensee has a large license and is operating within the capacity limits and ratios for this visit. All adults living and working in the home have finger print clearance and are associated with this facility.
LPA observed that all required documents, such as the facility license, the Notification of Parental Rights, and the Earthquake Preparedness Checklist, were displayed and visible to the public.
The most recent emergency disaster drill was conducted in September 2025, and the LPA observed that it was documented. LPA reviewed the emergency disaster drill log and found they were conducted at least once every six months.
Daycare Areas: The main Living Room Area, the Kitchen, the Backyard, the Front Yard, the Southeast Side Yard, Bathroom 1, Bedroom 3, and Bedroom 2 (added during this visit).
Off-limit Areas: Garage, Northwest Side Yard, Bedroom 1, and Laundry Room (as a pass through only).
LPA inspected the previously off-limits bedroom for health and safety hazards. LPA observed that the home's interior was clean and orderly, with proper heating and ventilation.
