LPA observed the facility has a fully stocked first aid kit and a functioning telephone. Per the director, there is only one child who has an allergy in the center at this time. LPA observed the medication box was properly stored and contained the required forms alongside the medication in the original box and up to date.
The director stated they use the office as an isolation area for ill children to wait for their guardians.
According to Kayla, the facility provides breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks in addition to milk and the drinking water.
Per the director , the facility is using an electronic sign-in/out app called Bulding Kidz Connect and LPA observed all authorized representatives have signed for today.
All posting requirements are met by the facility and the License, Parent's Rights, and California Child Passenger Safety Law observed by the LPA.
The LPA reviewed the facility records, six children's files, and five staff files. LPA found all required documents in the children's file including immunization records, LIC 700, and Personal-Parents Rights. LPA also observed all necessary documents available in the staff file including Mandated Reporter Training and Employee Rights.
The director is aware that all staff is required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com.

Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for
drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. See page 3. |
