25 | On March 8th, 2023 at approximately, 11:30am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano and April Cowan conducted an unannounced required annual inspection and met with licensee, Yuly Salvidar. Purpose of the inspection was explained. Present in the facility are licensee, licensee's mom, and licensee's minor child. There are currently no enrolled children present. Licensee is within capacity limits of the License. All adults living and working in the home have a criminal record clearance on file.
Licensee's family own two story home. Licensee lives with 4 other adults and 3 minor children. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8-6:30pm. Daycare areas are: First Floor: Living room, bathroom #1, and backyard. Off-limit areas are: First Floor: Kitchen, and garages, Second Floor: Bedrooms #1&2, Bathroom #2.All off limit areas, including closets, are properly barricaded.
LPA toured day care areas of home with Licensee. LPA observed home to be clean and in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. Home does not have a fire place in the home. There were no pools, spas or bodies of water on the property. Licensee has a pet dog that has all the proper documentation. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children. Discipline Policy was discussed.
There was a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm, and a working telephone on site. Phone number listed for Licensee is current. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA reviewed children’s records which were complete. LPA also reviewed facility and employee records. Licensees CPR & First Aid Certificate expires on 11/2023. Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training expires on 01/2024. Last emergency drill was conducted 12/2022. Emergency drills are conducted at least once every six months and are properly logged.
