25 | On 01/22/25 at approximately 9:20am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Katie Krenn and Jonathan Tse for a case management visit. LPAs met with the Director and explained the purpose of today's visit. LPAs did an inspection of the facility.
During the inspection of the napping room, LPAs observed that the sheets in two of the cribs were not tightly fitted on the mattresses. LPAs spoke with the director and the director informed the LPAs that the sheets were provided by the parents and the sheets went home every Friday to be laundered. LPAs advised that the director informed the parents of the dimensions of the mattresses that is used in each crib, so that the parents can provide tightly fitted sheets that are designed for each mattress. The director said that they understood and would inform the parents. A technical violation was issued.
LPAs observed that a play pen outside of the nap room was being used to store toys. LPAs informed the director that cribs are to be kept free of objects. The director said that they understood would keep cribs clear of loose articles and object. A technical violation was issued.
While inspecting the outdoor play area for preschoolers the LPAs noticed that near one of the play structures, there is a small section of poured concrete, about 2 ft x 2 ft. It was visible under the rubber bits that were being used as padding. The LPAs advised the director to instruct teachers to keep a close eye on this area to ensure that it remains properly covered with the rubber bits. The director said that they understood and would instruct the staff accordingly. A technical advisory was issued.
The facility was observed to be clean and in orderly condition and operation within staffing and ratio requirements. No deficiencies were cited during today's visit.
