25 | Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. This is a change of location from Folkstone Avenue, SM, CA. 414004877. LPA and the applicant, Tricia Wong toured the entire house for health and safety hazards. Current residents are Tricia Wong, her husband, and their children ages 11 year old daughter, 8 year old son. Days and hours of operation: Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Day Care Areas: living room, dining room, kitchen, main playroom, and bathroom inside the main playroom. Off-limit areas: the entire upper level (3 bedrooms), a bathroom, and a garage. The deck is not licensed today. If used, it needs to be inspected it. The applicant owns this home. The control of the property is on file. The home is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector, a smoke detector, and a fire extinguisher size 2A10B. LPA advised them to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
CPR and 1st aid are current until 06/20/2023. The facility does not have a body of water such as a swimming pool, or hot tub. No pets. Discipline policy was discussed. The facility will provide morning snacks, afternoon snacks, and lunches. The gate is used to prevent children from going to the upper level (off-limit), and another gate in the main play areas.
LPA review AB 1207 with the Licensee. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. The applicant completed AB 1207 on 03/06/2022. A certificate is on file.
