13 | On this day Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jaime Vado, conducted an uannounced complaint investigation visit to deliver findings in the alleagation above. LPA met with the administrator Ricardo Aban and explained the purpose of this visit.
During the course of the investigation LPA conducted mulitple interviews; received and reviewed documents specific to the investigation. It is discovered that although it could not be established wether it was a diaper or a pair of pants that was put near a resident's face, it is confirmed that the action of something being put near the resident's face did occurr, and is a violation of personal rights in not treating the resident with dignity and respect. This is mutually agreed upon between the Department and the facility.
Based on LPA interviews and items letters received, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, are being cited on the attached LIC9099D. Report is reveiwed with the administrator. |
