| As mentioned, LPA interviewed parents. The interviews revealed how every parent is satisfied with the care and supervision the staff perform. Every parent interviewed stated they have not observed any staff mishandle or speak to children in a inappropriate way. Every parent interviewed stated they would recommend this CCC.
As mentioned LPA reviewed internal HR emails pertaining to candidates and their background clearance. One email was discovered by LPA. This email pertains to one candidate (Adult#1) . In the email HR representative shared concerns due to Adult#1 needing a exemption approval from Care Provider Management Branch. The email states, CCC did not move forward with Adult#1's employment.
Also LPA conducted three unannounced inspections. During those inspections LPA did not observe Adult#1 on the property. LPA also did not observe any staff behaving in a way that would pose a danger to the health and safety of children in care.
Through staff interviews, LPA interviewed multiple staff. Both S#1,S#2 and S#3 stated Adult#1 was never observed providing care and supervision to children at the CCC. Additionally LPA interviewed site supervisor who confirmed Adult#1 was never employed at the CCC. Site supervisor also confirmed Adult#1’s offer of employment was rescinded.
Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
