Regarding the allegation, staff denied daycare child bathroom usage. LPA interviewed multiple parents. Every parent who was interviewed stated, their children has had potty accidents. Most parents stated the potty accidents occurred due to potty training. One parent did state, how the parent observed multiple children at the facility who did not have their diapers changed. The aforementioned parent continued to state, how the parent decided to disenrolled their child (see LIC812). Most of the parents who were interviewed stated they do receive notification on brightwheel application every time their child receive a diaper change. Also most parents stated, they approve of the care and supervision the staff provide to their children.

LPA interviewed staff. The interviews revealed how staff document every child's diaper change (bowel movements) on bright wheel. The staff acknowledged at times there are bowel movement accidents due to diaper changes and potty training. Additionally the interviews revealed, staff and parents work together to write out a plan for toilet training.

LPA reviewed self reported unusual incidents from the last 12 months. LPA did not locate any unusual incident that pertaining to children being denied bathroom/potty services (see LIC812).

As mentioned LPA reviewed a document listing resources parent can utilize with their children to over come potty training challenges. Also the aforementioned document included a template for a toilet plan parents and staff can utilize for potty training.

LPA conducted two unannounced visits. During those visits LPA did not observe staff neglecting bathroom/potty services to children.

Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.

Exit Interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor Maite Estrada.

Appeal rights were provided to Site Supervisor.

Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted in a prominently public area for 30 days.
