13 | On October 21st, 2022 at 9:00AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault, made an unannounced inspection to conclude the complaint listed above. Prior to entry, Covid – 19 prescreening questions were asked and no exposure in the facility. LPA met with Director Susy Del Toro and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility both inside and out. At the time of the inspection there was one (1) child present and one (1) teacher.
The Department obtained allegations that the director, Suzy Del Toro engaged in inimical conduct.
LPA ascertained facility file records and documents which were reviewed and did not support the allegation. Interviews were conducted with parents of children in care, and parents did not corroborate the allegation listed above, and several parents indicated they would refer this facility to other families. Interviews with staff members indicate this allegation is unsupported and cannot corroborate.
Based on observations, record reviews, and interviews, this agency has investigated the above complaint and have determined that, although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. Therefore, the above allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview was conducted with director. Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) posted during LPA inspection, and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
