On June 22, 2022 at 2:25 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Francisco Pedroza and Susana Martinez conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA's met with facility Director Annabel Padilla and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA's a tour of the facility inside and out. There were 59 children in care at the time of the inspection.

LPA's observed licensing required documents posted prominently on the wall in the facility lobby. Facility has enough restrooms for the children to use. Children are escorted to the restroom when they request to use the restroom. Children hang their belongings on hook when they enter the classroom. LPA observed age appropriate toys, activities, and furniture readily accessible for children to use. The center has a school library on the premises that children have the opportunity to check-out a book to take home. The center has a computer lab accessible for children as well. The center provides two snacks for children during the Summer program. Children bring their own lunch from home. Currently the facility is not providing Incidental Medical Services (IMS) to children in care. Facility has a large outdoor grass play area and with an age appropriate play structure. Children have access to water inside and out. Children bring their own water bottles from home.

LPA reviewed a sampling of children and staff records. Children records were complete and current. Staff files were observed to be current and complete. Teachers meet the required qualifications. Teachers present have current Pediatric CPR/First-Aid and Mandated Reporter certificates. Facility is following current Covid-19 guidelines.

No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection.
