25 | Due to COVID-19 pandemic, LPA asked the pre-screening questions prior to inspection. Licensee's responses indicate there was no COVID-19 exposure on site.
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martina Jimenez conducted a Comprehensive Required Visit and met with Silvia Arredondo, Licensee, the purpose of the inspection was discussed and together they toured the inside and outside of the home.
LPA observed 1 child playing in the day-care room at the time of the inspection. The day care areas, include the living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, day-care room, and hallway bathroom. The 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and garage of the home are off limits to children in care. The are 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom, and garage were secured with a gates and chain link locks on the doors and hallway, making them off limits to children. The knives, cleaning supplies and medications are stored out of children reach. The bathroom was found clean and free of toxins.
The carbon monoxide and smoke detectors were tested at 1:44 PM and were found operational at the time of the inspection. The fire extinguisher was serviced April 21, 2021. The last fire drill conducted and documented was August 8,2021.
The children's records were reviewed. The children's roster was found complete and updated. Licensee is current with CPR and First Aid which expires October 23, 2022.
