25 | On January 27, 2023 at 10:10 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Austin Rios conducted an unannounced Case Management/Legal Inspection as increased unannounced visits to the facility are to to be conducted to monitor compliance for probationary license. LPA met with licensee Eva Vega and advised the purpose of the inspection. There were one child in care at the time of the inspection. Child and licensee were observed together in the backyard playroom with proper supervision. The gates in the backyard were observed to be closed and locked upon LPA arrival. The pool had a cover over it and the backyard play equipment was observed to be in good condition.The facility was observed to be orderly.
Licensees probationary license is subject to the following limitations and conditions and was observed during the visit, five (5) feet tall fence for hot tub was observed during the visit and the gate to have access to the hot tub was locked. Licensee submitted name to face recognition plan and has been received by the department along with proof of six hours of care and supervision training. Licensee attended the last in person orientation conducted by the department in November 2022. LPA also observed during the visit installation of safety devices (security camera maintained, alarm system bell on gate, baby gate, door lock latch, and doorknob covers. LPA observed child's file for proof of LIC 9224 signed.
Exit interview conducted with licensee Eva Vega. Licensee was reminded of the probationary license limitations and conditions again to be followed and always maintaining proper supervision while the children are in the backyard too. LPA provided licensee with the Notice of Site visit |
