On May 24th, 2023, at 1:21PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA met with Director Suzy Granzier and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. The facility operates Monday through Friday 8:45AM – 3:30PM. The facility is located on the grounds of Grace Gathering Church. At the time of the inspection there were thirteen (13) children, and three (3) staff present.

LPA observed required licensing documents mounted on the wall at the entrance of the facility. Parents use written logs for the purposes of signing in and out and the ParentSquare app for communication purposes. The facility is currently utilizing three (3) classrooms for care and supervision. Each of the classrooms have ample ventilation, age-appropriate toys, and furniture readily accessible for children in care. LPA observed a variety of activities designed to meet the needs of children including quiet and active play, rest and relaxation, eating and toileting. Children nap on mats and their individual bedding is stored separately. Director states mats are disinfected daily. Children bring their own water bottles and facility also provides filter water for use. LPA observed all cleaning compounds, disinfectants, sharps, combustibles, and tools to be elevated and inaccessible to children. LPA observed the facility has a sufficient number of restrooms and sinks available for the children, which were functioning and clean at the time of the inspection. Facility provides morning snack and LPA observed kitchen to be clean, free of rodents, and appliances in working order, and snack menu was posted in a prominent location. Fire extinguisher was last serviced on 6/28/2023, last emergency drill was conducted on 3/7/2023. Per director, no firearms or ammunition are present on property.
