25 | On May 24th, 2023, at 3:25PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault conducted an unannounced Case Management – COVID-19 inspection and met with Director Suzy Granziera. LPA informed the purpose for the inspection. At the time of the inspection there were thirteen (13) children, and three (3) teachers present.
This inspection is a follow-up on COVID-19 outbreaks reported by facility staff to Community Care Licensing (CCL) from 8/24/2021 through 1/27/2022.
LPA discussed Testing, Face coverings, Isolation for Illness, Cleaning and Disinfection, Handwashing, and How to Respond to Exposures or Outbreaks.
Since report of last Covid positive on 1/27/2022, there have been no further cases reported to the Department. LPA observed facility offers hand sanitizer in multiple locations, and masks for parents and children readily accessible. Facility continues to require wellness checks upon entry, provides Covid-19 tests, and maintains an isolated area for any children who feel unwell. Director stated children are continuing hand washing guidelines and LPA observed postings in restrooms outlining procedures. Volunteer parents are required to take Covid 19 tests weekly prior to entry of facility. If child or parent tests positive, they may return after testing negative for five (5) days and are required to wear a mask on facility site for ten (10) days.
LPA reviewed that facility maintains a current Covid-19 Child Care Program Self-Assessment Guide/Mitigation plan.
There were no deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
Exit interview conducted, report reviewed, and copy provided to director.
