13 | On October 30 2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovani Gonzalez conducted an unannounced inspection to initiate a complaint investigation at the above-mentioned Child Care Center (CCC). LPA met with Supervisor Tasha Ricketson. LPA in the company of the Supervisor toured the interior and exterior of the facility. At the time of the inspection there were 23 children present.
During the inspection LPA observed 3 of 4 trash receptacles in the infant/toddler areas did not have lids. Although the trash receptacles did not have lids LPA observed the trash receptacles to be in good condition and free of insects and rodents. During the inspection the Director of Facilities Maintenance and Safety replaced trash receptacles with ones with lids. Based on LPAs observation the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. Because trash receptacles were replaced during the inspection,no defeciency is being cited. A Technical Violation (LIC 9102) is being given.
