| LPA also conducted staff interviews. In total LPA interviewed 5 staff. From the staff interviews all staff stated and confirmed they had enough/correct qualifications to provide care and supervision. The staff also stated they were unaware of any staff not being fully qualified at this facility.
LPA conducted and completed staff file reviews. LPA confirmed all the staff who work at the facility as a teacher , have enough Early Childhood Education and Child Development Units . LPA also confirmed all the teachers have a background clearance. furthermore all staff currently working have a current AB1207 Certificate.
In regard to Allegation#2 Facility is operating out of ratio. LPA interviewed multiple parents. Most parents stated they have not observed the facility providing care and supervision to infants while not having enough staff to support the infants (See LIC812).
LPA also reviewed the staff handbook. LPA confirmed the staff handbook provides guidance on page four on proper infant to teacher/staff ratios as out lined by Title 22 California Code of Regulations(See LIC812).
LPA conducted staff interviews. The interview’s reveled staff are familiar with proper infant to teacher ratio as outlined in title 22 California Code of Regulations. All staff who were interviewed knowledge the proper ratio is 4 infants to 1 teacher. Furthermore all staff who were interviewed stated, they have never observed the facility out of ratio.
LPA also obtained and reviewed 90 calendar days of infant sign in/out sheets and staff schedules. LPA discovered odd number of infant to teacher ratios on 7/01/2024 , 7/18/2024, 7/24/2024 and 7/25/2024. However during todays visit, LPA reviewed sleep log documentation, Teacher aide schedules.
