25 | A case management Inspection was conducted by LPA S. Mendoza-Ceja who met with Heather Robbins and the Director Crista Trujillo. The center was toured inside and outside. Upon arrival, LPA observe five infants in care. The purpose of today's inspection is to measure and re-evaluate the center for an increase of capacity for 44 infants. LPA observed classroom #1 to be used for the younger infants which has a changing table and sink, including the napping crib area. Classroom #2 will be for mobile infants, LPA observed a changing table and sink. Classroom #3 will be for older infants who will be potty trained. The outdoor play areas measurements includes the 3 patios (located adjacent to the classrooms) and playground area, excluding the play structure area which is fenced and inaccessible to the day care children.
LPA measured indoor classrooms and outdoor areas of the infant program:
Indoor Square footage meets the requirement for 44 infants.
Outdoor Square footage meets the requirement for 44 infants.
9 Cribs were observed to be available and mats for the older infants.
Water bottles will be available to infants in the classrooms and outdoors.
Napping mats are available for infants.
Two Changing tables available within arms reach of a sink.
7 Toilets which exceeds the requirements 44 infants who are potty training.
4 Sinks which exceeds the requirements for 44 infants.
Shade was observed to be available outdoors.
Prior to approval of the increase of capacity: The Fire Clearance will need to be received. |
