25 | On 8/27/25, at 12:50 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Seena Parsapour and Matthew Sapien conducted an unannounced annual random inspection visit of the abovementioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPAs met with Esperanza Vieyra, Licensee of the FCCH, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. The LPAs, in the company of Licensee, toured the interior and exterior of the FCCH in its entirety. The home is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom single story home. The areas that are accessible for day care children are as follows: living room (main day care area), dining area, kitchen, 1 bathroom, and the front yard/patio area. The remainder of the home is excluded from childcare services and made inaccessible by way of and child safe doorknob covers, and latch-equipped wooden fencing in the patio area. At the time of the inspection, LPAs observed one (1) day care child present, who was not an infant.
LPAs observed the FCCH to be clean and orderly. The bathroom, utilized for childcare, is clean and free of toxins. LPAs observed sharps stored in an elevated cabinet in the kitchen, locked with a magnetic child-safe lock, and family medications also stored within an elevated kitchen cabinet, also secured by way of a magnetic child-safe lock. No children currently require incidental medical services. Cleaning solutions and other toxins are stored in the garage, elevated on a storage rack, with the garage remaining locked & off-limits to children in care.
LPAs observed age-appropriate toys, furnishings, and equipment throughout the interior and exterior of the FCCH. LPAs observed a metal-mesh enclosed heater in the living room area. LPAs were informed that there are chickens on the property, enclosed by cage in the backyard and inaccessible to children in care. (CONT. 809-C, Page 2)
