25 | On 9/22/22, at 11:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault conducted an unannounced Case Management – COVID-19 inspection and met with Nicole Hammock, administrator of the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC). LPA notes owner, Heather Robbins was present post facility tour. LPA informed of the purpose for the inspection and completed a COVID-19 pre-screening questions prior to the commencement of the inspection. LPA, along with administrator toured the facility, inside and outside. There were 33 children in care and 6 staff.
This inspection is a follow-up on a COVID-19 outbreak reported by facility to Community Care Licensing (CCL) on 1/6/2022; 7/7/2022; 7/21/2022.
LPA notes the CCC has disinfectants and cleaning compounds throughout the facility which are readily available to staff members but inaccessible to children in care. Temperatures of children entering the CCC are taken and wellness checks are submitted daily by parents via BrightWheel App. LPA observed handwashing stations, orderly bathrooms with washing products. Children bring their own water bottles and handwashing is mandated between meals and activity changes. LPA notes administrator states a cleaner comes in the evening to disinfect facility. Children’s napping mats are sanitized daily, children sleep with ample space, children’s cubbies are separate from one another, and facility has sufficient ventilation. Facility has an isolation area (office) should a child become symptomatic during the day to await pick up from parent.
