32 | Off limit areas included: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, front yard and garage. LPA observed child safety gate by the kitchen area, making it inaccessible. Bedroom and garage are locked and latched. LPA observed safety locks located in the kitchen cabinets
Areas used by children included: dining area, family room/daycare area, living room, back yard 2 bedrooms. The applicant states that she will provide food for children in care. There are age appropriate toys and napping equipment on the premises. Knives are stored out of children's reach, inaccessible to children.
The required fire extinguisher 2A10BC was purchased in 8/3/2021. Smoke detector, carbon monoxide detectors were tested at 9:58 AM and were functioning at the time of the visit. Per Applicant, there are no guns nor ammunition in the home. First Aid and emergency kits are available.
The Applicant completed the Orientation on April 23, 2021. The Applicant has current Pediatric First Aid and CPR which expires, June 23, 2023. Applicant completed Preventative Health Training on May 21, 2021. Applicant completed the Mandated Reporter Training on May 18, 2021. Applicant has proof of immunization per SB 792 against pertussis and measles and waived the influenza vaccine.
The following was discussed with the applicant:
· Individuals who are 18 years of age or older living in the home or working in the home, must obtain a criminal record clearance. Individuals within one month of their 18th birthday must be fingerprinted immediately. Failure to obtain the Criminal Record Background Check clearances prior to initial presence in the home will result in an immediate $100.00 dollar or more per day Civil Penalty.
