32 | Two parents of day care children stated that a pick up truck has been observed at the FCCH after 4:30 PM which according to the parents belongs to Adult 1. No other parents corroborated with the claims because most parents pick up the children at 4:00 PM
Regarding the allegation that license hit child # 4. It was reported that during nap time, when licensee observed C4 sitting on a nap mat instead of napping, licensee hit C4. Parent of C4 was interviewed who stated that C4 has no problem napping. No other children witnessed the incident. Licensee denied hitting child # 4.
Regarding the allegation that licensee's middle school child smoke marijuana in the presence of day care children. LPA attempted to interview Child # 6 but licensee refused. Interviews with parents of day care children did not provide any corroborating evidence.
Regarding the allegation, licensee did not provide child with chicken nuggets brought from home, Parent had an arrangement with licensee that Child # 3 is a picky eater and only eats chicken nuggets.
Interview with Licensee revealed that allowing one child to bring outside food, particularly fast food would be unfair to other children seeing one child eating happy meal
LPA interview with Child # 3 revealed that licensee informed C3 in several occasions that there were no more chicken nuggets. C3 expressed feeling sad about this because C3 was hungry. On 7/8/2024, LPAs interviewed licensee who denied the allegation. Licensee stated there was never a time that she ran out of chicken nuggets because licensee notifies parent ahead of time chicken nuggets supply is low to ensure it is replenished in time or licensee will provide chicken nuggets from FCCH
Although the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the above allegations are Unsubstantiated.
