On February 28, 2024 at 12:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst, (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for a change of capacity. During the inspection, the Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) met with Licensee, and explained the purpose of the visit.

LPA and Licensee toured the interior and exterior of the home. There were 4 children present at the time of the inspection. LPA observed that both the interior and exterior specifically the day care area were free of hazardous materials and/or toxins at the time of the inspection. LPA reviewed Licensee's file, First Aid/CPR certification was verified which will expire on 1/13/2026 while Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training certificate expired on 2/23/2024. Fire Extinguisher was serviced on 1/1/2024.


On 1/23/2024, License submitted an application for a change of capacity. The proposed change is to increase the Family Child Care Home's (FCCH) capacity from 8 to 14. Fire clearance was granted on 2/21/2023.

LPA discussed the requirement for care providers/employees, including volunteers, to obtain immunization against Influenza, Pertussis, Measles, including verification of TB, with applicant's verification being on file.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. The following information regarding ADA was provided:

LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with applicant, and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at: htttps://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep, as an additional resource. LPA also informed applicant of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at: https://www.cpsc.gov/, and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.



On this date, 2/28/2024, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.

Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org site, a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platforms. To receive important licensed related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at https:// www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community-care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication.

During today's inspection, no deficiency was cited, Technical Assistance was provided.

Issuance of Large FCCH is pending approval until the following requirements are completed:

- Renewed Mandated Reporter Training Certificate


- Current LIC 9149 - Property Owner/Landlord Consent
- Current LIC 9151 - Property Owner/Landlord Consent
- Current Lease Agreement

A notice of site visit was given to applicant, and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
