32 | The day care has no enrolled child that starts with the provided initial. No parents or children reported witnessing inappropriate interaction among children. Interview with licensee revealed that they are supervising the day care children at all times. Licensee stated that children in a certain age get engage in independent play and they become curious, if any inappropriate behavior occurs, both parents will be notified and licensee will do licensee's part of communicating and educating the children.
It was also reported that the assistant/licensee's daughter was allegedly sleeping upstairs throughout the day, the assistant lives in the home and have scheduled time off. No children or parent support this allegation. Parents interviewed stated that FCCH had 2 to 3 assistants present at a time.
Parents were allegedly not allowed inside the home and parents were asked to text or call licensee 15 minutes before pick up. Interview with parents of day care children did not corroborate with the allegation. Interview with Licensee revealed that parents are welcome to enter the home to pick up the children at anytime. Licensee stated that some parents follow an exact schedule, but if they change their pick up time, a courtesy text helps out and is appreciated so licensee can have the child ready.
The complaint alleged that Child # 1, # 2, #3 suffered from diarrhea due to unclean water cups. However, interview with parents and children did not support this allegation. Interview with licensee revealed that water bottles are used only for water and sterilized on regular basis. Regarding dairy food, licensee requests a doctor's note to accommodate the dietary restrictions and provide the same to the agency when asked. It was also alleged that children were given snacks on the cement. The allegation was also not supported by the children interviewed.
