This is a change of location, previous facility number 426207022.

On August 11, 2022 at 1:52 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Francisco Pedroza conducted an announced Prelicensing inspection. LPA met with Program Coordinator Artesia Carlon and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Coordinator provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. There was no children in care at the time of the inspection. The center operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.
The center is located on local elementary school site. LPA observed where the required licensing documents will be mounted on the wall at the entrance of the classroom. The facility will be operate with a morning program 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and afternoon program 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. the facility will be providing one (1) snack to each child during each classroom session. The facility has one (1) toilet and sink in the classroom and will be using the school restrooms as well for children in care. LPA observed the classroom has age appropriate toys, activities, and furniture readily accessible for children in care. The facility has one (1) outdoor recreation yard consisting of a blacktop, grass area, and playground with age appropriate toys and structures. Water will be available for children inside and out. A fire clearance inspection was conducted by the Lompoc Fire Department on 8/5/2022 and approved a capacity of 26 children.

LPA reviewed with Coordinator the LIC 311A, Records To Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted. LPA discussed information capacity, ratios, current Covid-19, and safe sleep requirements. Coordinator was made aware that it is the facility's responsibility to know the current regulations for a CCC which can be accessed on-line at www.cdss.ca.gov.

The center meets Title 22 Division 12 requirements.

License will be effective today, August 11, 2022 for 26 children.
