| · LPAs observed a combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the FCCH. The combination carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector and was tested at 2:56 PM and found to be operable.
· The FCCH has a regulation fire extinguisher on site which was serviced on 8/28/2024. LPAs reminded the Licensee to either service or purchase a regulation fire extinguisher annually.
· The FCCH maintains working telephone services.
LPAs notes the outdoor back patio is inaccessible. Licensee reports that Licensee and children walk to the nearby park for outdoor time. Licensee and LPAs discussed active supervision every time Licensee takes children out of the home to go to the park.
· Children have access to filtered water by means of individual bottles.
· LPAs did not observe any bodies of water in the home. However, the Licensee stated there is a pool on the far side of the apartment complex. The licensee stated you need a key to enter, and she does not have one and has never used the pool.
LPAs reviewed children's records. The records are current, complete, and possessed emergency contact information and immunization records. Licensee does have infant age children enrolled.
· Licensee is aware of the infant safe sleep regulations.
The Licensee's records were reviewed.
· A review of the FCCH's fire drill log shows the last drill occurred 10/24/24 at with 8 children present.
· Licensee’s pediatric CPR and First Aid certification expires on 9/07/2026.
· Licensee’s Mandated Reporter training certificate expires 2/07/2026.
· The Licensee informed LPAs no firearms or ammunition are stored on site.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record
