On 08/07/2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Martina Jimenez and Matthew Sapien, conducted an announced, Pre-licensing inspection for a large Family Child Care Home (FCCH) license, to review the pending corrections. LPAs met with Aaliyah Alcantar, applicant, the purpose of the inspection was discussed and together LPAs and Applicant toured the inside and outside of the home. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection.

LPAs observed the following corrections to be completed and corrected at the time of the inspection;

1. Clean all the small objects from the living room floor
2. Secure the roses in the children's play area
3. Repair broken living room window
4. Remove nails along the fence line
5. Emergency disaster - Second temporary location
6. Infant Napping equipment
7. Receipt for fire extinguisher

On June 26, 2024, the applicant submitted documentation for a large FCCH license. The applicant is seeking a Large FCCH with a capacity of 14 children. The Santa Maria Fire Department granted a fire clearance following an inspection completed at FCCH on July 17, 2024.

This home meets Title 22 Division 12 requirements of a large FCCH license. Effective date of license will be noted as the present, 08/07/24.

A notice of site visit was given to applicant, and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the applicant, .Aaliyah Alcantar.
