| Also, parents stated they are only aware of the Licensee and Assistant #1 to be conducting the drop-off/pick-up service. Parents continued to state they have not observed the personal rights of children not being respected at this FCCH.
The department conducted children interviews. In total, there were 6 children interviewed. The children interviews identified the Licensee and Assistant #1 as the two individuals who provide the school transportation, drop-off and pick-up service.
As mentioned, LPA conducted interviews with Assistant #1 and Assistant #2. The interviews with Assistant #1 revealed how Assistant #1 does provide transportation services to the children in care. Also, Assistant #1 stated, how Assistant #1 protects the personal rights of children by being attentive to the children’s surroundings and keeping the area free of hazards. The interview with Assistant #2 revealed Assistant #2 has only observed the Licensee and Assistant #1 transport children to and from school. Assistant#2 also stated, how Assistant#2 keeps constant care and supervision of the children to ensure their personal rights are being respected.
Furthermore, the Child Care Licensing Division conducted two unannounced visits during the course of the investigation. LPAs observed the Licensee and Assistant #1 and Assistant #2 providing care and supervision to children during those visits. LPAs did not observe the personal rights of children being violated.
Although the allegations may or may not have occurred or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the violation did or did not occur. Therefore, this allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
