32 | Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Combined preschool classrooms measure 1031.51 sq. ft., and total preschool outdoor play area measures 10,502.47 sq. ft.
Infant classroom measures 364.00 sq. ft., and infant outdoor play area measure 3379.73 sq. ft.
The following corrections are required: Preschool rooms - clean all surfaces including flooring, bathrooms, and toys. Outdoor play area requires removal of any broken or defective toys and equipment, mud room to be rendered inaccessible or modified for safe clean play, all tables and play surfaces to be cleaned. Infant room - replace furniture, padded vinyl/plastic covering for changing table. Outdoor play area needs soft padding to absorb falls on surfaces of play and rest, cover brick entry area for safer entry and exit of facility, clean all toys, equipment, sinks and tables and remove debris, excessive dirt from grounds. Possible waiver for use of 3rd restroom and sink.

A Notice of Site Visit was given to the director and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
